Celebrate the opening of our 47th season with a special performance of the Philadelphia premiere of Roland Petit's Carmen! This sultry, sensuous ballet, danced to the glorious music of Bizet, will set the tone for an evening of dining and dancing – with a Spanish twist. We will begin this black tie event at the Academy of Music with a performance of Carmen and then head up to the Union League for cocktails, dinner and dancing with the dancers. Tickets start at $350 per person.

Our annual Nutcracker Magic event enchants children of all ages! The experience begins with a delicious lunch at the Park Hyatt at the Bellevue where children can meet the Mouse King and other characters from the ballet, play with an organ grinder and his monkey, be awed by magicians and stilt walkers, learn a little dance from The Nutcracker and have their photos taken with the Sugarplum Fairy herself! A special, private performance of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker follows at the Academy of Music. Tickets start at $150 per person.

Invite your friends for a taste of the action "behind the scenes" of a production. Enjoy a delicious luncheon/lecture at the Union League where the Ballet's Artistic Staff will discuss the production that will open that night. Then head over to the Merriam Theater to watch the Dress Rehearsal, along with youngsters involved in our outreach and education program, Accent on Dance. Tickets start at $100 per person.
