Corps de Ballet
Maximilien Baud began his training in New York City with The School of American Ballet in 1991, where he trained for 10 years. He then finished his training with the San Francisco Ballet School.In 2001, Mr. Baud performed in New York City Ballet’s world premiere of Elliot Feld’s Organon. In 2002, he began his professional career with Carolina Ballet under the direction of Robert Weiss, former Artistic Director of Pennsylvania Ballet.
In 2005, Mr. Baud joined Pennsylvania Ballet and has since danced in Western Symphony, Quartet for IV, Lambarena, The Concert, The Sleeping Beauty, In the Night, Swan Lake, George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Theme and Variations, and The Firebird. He has performed lead roles in Barber Violin Concerto by Peter Martins and In the Night and The Concert by Jerome Robbins.
